ICT FOR TEACHERS: ENHANCING DIGITAL COMPETENCE AND INNOVATIVE PEDAGOGY

Introduction and Description
In an era where digital transformation shapes every dimension of education, the meaningful integration of ICT has become essential for effective teaching, learner engagement, and institutional development. This course responds to the growing need for educators to move beyond basic technical skills and develop a deeper pedagogical fluency with digital tools, multimedia creation, and online learning environments. It equips teachers, school staff, and educational organisations with the competences required to design learning experiences that are innovative, inclusive, and aligned with European priorities for digital readiness.

Available in both 5-day and 10-day formats, the programme offers a comprehensive yet flexible pathway toward strengthening digital competence in line with the DigCompEdu framework. Participants explore current tools for visual communication, interactive learning, animation, video production, collaborative project work, and responsible digital publishing. Throughout the course, ICT is examined not as an add-on, but as a catalyst for active learning, creativity, critical thinking, and intercultural exchange—key dimensions of high-quality education in the 21st century.

The course is particularly relevant for Erasmus+ project applications, as it supports institutional capacity-building, digital transition strategies, and the development of sustainable ICT-enhanced practices across subject areas and educational levels. Through guided workshops, collaborative tasks, and the creation of curriculum-aligned digital artefacts, participants gain the confidence and competence to implement ICT in ways that enrich teaching, foster student motivation, and strengthen whole-school development.

By the end of the programme, educators will not only understand how to use digital tools, but also how to embed them meaningfully into their pedagogical practice—empowering their learners, enriching their organisations, and contributing to a digitally competent, future-ready European education landscape.
